Dublin is an amazing, fun, and historic city with loads to see and lots of great restaurants. But it is notoriously expensive – yes, Ireland’s capital city is known as one of the most expensive cities in Europe. And one of the easiest ways to cut down on costs is by booking cheaper accommodation.
And even though there are heaps of hotels here in Dublin (I think there’s close to 1,000 in the greater city area), I understand why many travelers opt for a hostel in Dublin instead – as they’re cheaper and more social!
I always say, choosing the right hostel can definitely make or break a vacation. Having a lovely place to stay after a day of exploring is so important to me, so below I’ve only included hostels that I’d personally stay at in Dublin.

1. Generator Dublin (Very trendy location)

2. Abbey Court Hostel (Epic facilities)
Why we rate it: Fab facilities like a cinema room & hammock room and it’s super clean.
